David began his professional career within the Bank of New York's Securities Processing Audit Group. Holding the position of Senior Auditor, he left BNY in August 1993 to join the commodities brokerage firm, Refco, Inc. David held the title of Vice President and headed the financial operations and treasury business units at Refco. In January of 2000, he joined the Pershing Division of Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette Securities Corporation (DLJSC).

David held dual responsibilities as the Business Unit Controller for the Customer Agency Trading Division, and also as the Chief Financial Officer of Pershing Trading Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of DLJSC. While employed at Pershing, he maintained an Allied Membership at the New York Stock Exchange.

David earned a B.S. degree in Finance from Rutgers University School of Business, and currently holds NASD Series 7, 63, 24, and 27 licenses. He is also a member of the Association for Financial Professionals, and the Securities Industry Association, Financial Management Division.
